Whilst the name may be an mouthful the plant itself is a favourite amongst growers due to its small succulent leaves, slow growth habit and masses of sweet fragrant white flower over much of the growing period.
Flowers: 1.2cm across in small bunches that will produce multiple sets of scented flowers from each stem each year. Slow growing , suits pot or basket.
Position: Full sun to heavy shade, flowers better under higher sun levels. Indoors it will grow well but will not flower.
Temperature: Cool to moderate range, will do with minimal protection in colder climates.
Water: Keep drier in winter and moist in warmer months.
Fertiliser: Weak dose regularly in warmer months
Repotting: Only when plant is well advanced in pot or mid-spring.
